Saudi Arabia has announced it will impose final anti-dumping duties for a period of five years on stainless steel pipes imported from China and Taiwan.
The decision follows an investigation launched on May 2, 2024, after a complaint from domestic producers. The investigation was conducted under existing regulations aimed at preventing unfair trade practices in international markets.
The decision, approved by Minister of Commerce and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority of Foreign Trade (GAFT), Dr. Majed Al-Qasabi, was published in the official gazette Umm Al-Qura on June 29. The duties are expected to come into force on June 30, 2025.
